The roleReporting to the Nurse Educator, RSQ you will facilitate opportunities for learning and excellence in education and staff development within Retrieval Services Queensland. The Clinical Facilitator provides and promotes a work-based culture that fosters clinical leadership, clinical excellence, education and workforce development. The Clinical Facilitator role works autonomously, supports management activities, and provides advanced clinical and leadership problem solving skills and expert planning in the provision of coordination of aeromedical retrieval and clinical management including the provision of telehealth for patients across Queensland. The Clinical Facilitator works collaboratively with the Nurse Educator to develop programs and integrate learning opportunities with internal and external stakeholders and Health and Hospital Services. The Clinical Facilitator works and collaborates as part of the broader Education team and multidisciplinary RSQ team. Please note that travel around the state may be a component of this role. RSQ is a 24/7 clinical service. This role is predominantly a weekday role, some shift work may be required and flexibility of rostered hours and days may be needed, to align with organisational need and employee work life balance requirements. The successful personTo be successful in this role you will have demonstrated recency of critical care knowledge and practice and extensive experience > 5 years. In addition to this it is highly desirable that you have experience working in rural and remote settings, retrieval nursing or in an aeromedical field as well as completion of a post graduate qualification in Emergency, Critical Care Nursing or Clinical Education About usThe Department of Health is responsible for the overall management of the public health system in Queensland.
