About the role
The Clinical Nurse - Clinical Development Quality Facilitator (CDQF) plans, implements and evaluates clinical learning opportunities in the Laidley Health Service to support clinicians to provide evidence-based and contemporary patient-focused services. Clinical Development Quality Facilitator develops and maintains collaborative relationships with clinicians and educators to enable education services to be available and accessible on a 'just in time' basis within the workplace.
This position within Laidley Health Service promotes a positive culture, which supports education, learning, research, and quality improvement. Responsibilities include nursing orientation for staff and undergraduate /postgraduate students; trainer responsibilities for manual handling; basic and advanced life support as well as the implementation, review and management Laidley Health service line mandatory requirements.

About you
- Demonstrated clinical experience and contemporary knowledge relevant to rural health nursing.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge in the area of rural health delivering expert nursing care in complex situations while providing support and direction to other team members.
- Demonstrated advanced level of interpersonal and written communication skills to enable accurate, complete, and timely information transfer.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within both clinical and education teams to meet service imperatives within designated timeframes and resource allocations.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
