**About the opportunity**:
This is a very exciting opportunity to join the Net Zero Transport team in supporting the delivery of the NSW Electric Vehicle Strategy and the delivery of public EV charging infrastructure across NSW. The Net Zero Transport team is seeking an experienced and agile Contract Manager to support the execution of grants projects. If this is you, you will help our customers and partners in industry and the public to transition to electric vehicles and ultimately help the state reach net zero emissions.

The Net Zero Transport team delivers over $300 million in initiatives focusing on fleets, EV charging and consumer information, to accelerate the uptake of EVs in NSW.

This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate group of people managing projects that have tangible, on-the-ground environmental outcomes.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- be responsible for developing contract management frameworks, tools, and processes across these two high value and high-profile grants programs
- undertake active contract management with grant recipients
- conduct analysis to identify and resolve project delivery gaps and early project risk indicators
- support teams with their ongoing project delivery reporting requirements and data collection, and in the execution of grant funding agreement variations
- be trained by the program teams on program details and in the use of grants management platform SmartyGrants to ensure you’re successful in this role

**Essential skills and experience**:

- Contract management skills demonstrating the ability to support delivery of agreed outcomes on time, on budget, and to quality standards
- Ability to proactively identify and resolve contract issues in an efficient and professional manner
- Demonstrated time management and organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands across multiple teams
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to exercise sound judgement, discretion, and ensure effectiveness, accountability and transparency.

Desirable, but not essential, is knowledge of operational requirements for successful delivery of sustainability, transport, energy, climate change, resilience, adaptation and/or net zero emissions grants’ programs.
