**About the role**

We have an opportunity for a Technical Officer to be part of our Research & Development, Vehicle Operations, Fleet Services Finance and Business Services. The Technical Officer is responsible for working within a team supporting the business unit in regards to new vehicles and equipment selection, for the NSW Force Fleet.

As part of the technical team responsible for the safety of the company fleet, how would you respond to a request from a senior officer for an after-market GVM upgrade to a light commercial vehicle? How would you determine the need for such an upgrade? What are some essential considerations associated with a GVM upgrade?
