We provide innovative high quality After School Care, Before School Care and Vacation Care programs that are designed by experts to produce fun engaging environments that enable children to explore, learn and play with KidsCo.
As the Area Manager, you'll be the hero who leads a team of educators to provide engaging, compliant, and super awesome care programs for kids. Think of yourself as the coach who inspires the team to give their best game on the field.
You will ensure that every kid in our OSHC services across Victoria is having a blast in a safe and supportive environment. You will work with our Directors of Learning to develop creative ideas for activities that will make the kids' jaws drop and keep them coming back for more. You'll also be the go-to person for schools and other stakeholders, who trust you to keep the show running smoothly.
**About you**:
You are a detail-oriented leader with a positive attitude, initiative, and adaptability. You'll need to be confident in communicating, problem-solving, and multitasking under pressure and of course hold a current drivers license and have access to a car
**Key Responsibilities**
- Ensure each service is compliant with KidsCo policies and regulatory requirements and supports educators to meet and maintain these requirements on an ongoing basis.
- Provide support to services in areas such as routine and structure, day to day operations, programming, delivery of quality and compliance.
- Provide networking opportunities, facilitate professional discussions and support overall professional and personal development for educators.
- Participate in and contribute to the development of training sessions.
- Establish relationships with all stakeholders.
- Participate in the educator recruitment process.
- Provide support and advice to services to resolve parent, or school grievances or concerns.
- Support with all required notifications and investigations as part of regulatory reporting processes.
- Work with Human Resources to provide performance management reviews for all Victorian educators and coordinators team members.
**Requirements**:
- A clear understanding of the National Quality Framework.
- A deep understanding of the National Law and Regulation.
- Hold a valid WWCC and first aid certificate.
- Have proven management experience in the childcare and education industry.
- Childcare/Education qualifications preferred, but not essential.
