**The Opportunity**

Our **Toowoomba Branch** has an exciting opportunity for a **Field Service Heavy Equipment Diesel Fitter** to join our service department in a permanent full-time position.

This role will see you focus on all aspects of **Heavy Diesel mechanics and mobile plant equipment fitting **and** **will best suit someone who has strong focus on **diagnostics, maintenance and repairs **for our valued customer base.

**To be successful in this role, you will need**:

- ** Trade Qualifications - Minimum Certificate III in a Mechanical Engineering discipline.**:

- Safety Commitment - Proactive awareness and total assurance of Hitachi’s number one priority
- Experience & Skillset - Heavy Diesel mechanics and field service fitters with demonstrated work experience and technical knowledge of construction equipment - Hitachi equipment experience highly regarded
- Positive can do attitude
- Analytical thinking - Ability to navigate complex technical issues in repair and maintenance services with mínimal to zero rework
- Autonomous productivity - Initiative to plan work fronts efficiently and effectively, delivering quality outcomes to ensure Total Customer Satisfaction
