**About the role**

We are seeking a communications professional who can help to develop and deliver engagement plans and initiatives predominately for our Marketing & Trading and Fertiliser divisions.

Working collaboratively with the Corporate Affairs Team and across the business, you will help to develop communications and marketing plans for emerging and expanding areas within CBH and help shape and strengthen the way we engage with farmers, grain customers and the general public.

No two days are the same in this dynamic environment where your projects can range from developing a marketing campaign to travelling regionally to produce a video to understanding the details of how a product can deliver sustainable results for farmers and customers.

Located at the CBH Head Office in Perth’s CBD, this is a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract that will suit a communications professional who is looking to build their in-house communications and marketing experience and/or is interested in branching out into a different sector.

**Collaborating with the Corporate Affairs Team and key internal stakeholders, you will be responsible for**:
- Developing and delivering communications and marketing initiatives to farmers, employees and customers.- Developing engaging content for the website, intranet, presentations, speeches and other corporate communications channels.- Provide advice to senior leaders on effective communications on a range of matters including farmer relations, media relations and employee engagement activities.- Support media relations and social media activities including preparing media statements and responses.- Provide support when required for other areas of the Corporate Affairs team, including the delivery of grower focused and corporate events.- Experience delivering communications and engagement campaigns that achieve results.- Excellent communication and writing skills in marketing and employee communications.- An ability to work collaboratively and establish effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders- A degree in communications, marketing, journalism or similar with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a related work environment.- Experience with the agricultural industry will be highly regarded.
