**About the role**:
Lead in the design and implementation of strategic frameworks, partnerships, and advocacy approaches that support Origin’s social performance and social licence outcomes across renewable and cleaner energy developments.

**Why this role matters?**
- Develop and implement evidence-based high impact strategies and frameworks that support Origin’s social licence to operate, including advocacy, community engagement and stakeholder trust.
- Design long-term strategic plans for social performance and stakeholder engagement across all project phases, from early development to construction and operations.
- Develop reporting tools and governance frameworks to measure the return on investment of partnerships, community investment, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Social Advocacy and senior leadership to shape the business unit’s advocacy priorities and influence key policy, regulatory and industry sector initiatives.
- Provide expertise input to board papers, risk registers, project reviews, and government milestone reports relating to social and stakeholder performance.

**What will you bring?**
- Leadership skills with ability to lead high performing team
- Ability to travel regionally on a semi regular basis
- Significant previous experience in social performance, stakeholder strategy, advocacy, or partnership development, preferably in the energy, infrastructure or resources sector.
- Proven ability to develop, implement and evaluate business-aligned strategies and frameworks that drive long-term social outcomes and stakeholder value.
- Strong analytical and political acumen with the ability to assess complex environments and provide clear actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence senior leaders, brief executives and present in public forums.
- Proven experience contributing to internal governance, reporting and risk management processes.
- Experience influencing policy or advocacy outcomes through industry collaboration or government engagement.
