**Division**
The Customer Strategy and Technology Division (CST) within Transport leads the development of long-term, multi-modal strategies, plans and policies across NSW. We leverage data and insights, implement new technologies, drive innovation and build partnerships to provide customer-centred solutions.
**The opportunity**
We have a permanent full-time opportunity for an experienced Business Support Officer to join the Intelligent Transport Systems section within the Technology and Innovation branch. TfNSW offers flexible working arrangements with a balance of office (Redfern, Macquarie Park and Yennora) and work from home options.
As the right hand to the Executive Director Intelligent Transport Systems, you will provide a broad range of high-quality business, administrative and communication services to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the section.
As a valued and key member of the Technology and Innovation Business Management team you will contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to support the effective operation of the branch.
**What you will be involved in**:
- Reporting to the Senior Business Coordinator but partnering with the Executive Director Intelligent Transport Systems, you will manage the coordination and provision of a broad range of high-quality business and administrative services to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the section.
- Proactively managing emerging issues and escalating tasks to the Executive Director or one of his direct reports.
- Consistently delivering an outstanding level of customer service by providing a timely response to all requests and follow through to confirmation of appropriate resolution
**About you**
- You are customer centric, with a focus on providing exceptional business administrative services.
- You’re adaptable and flexible and thrive in a high-volume environment, enjoy variety in your day-to-day work and love working with people and solving problems.
- You are an excellent communicator who is driven in the tasks associated with supporting branch activities.
- Significant experience supporting an Executive staff member and supporting a large branch team made up of diverse teams.
- You are accountable, can make effective decisions.
- You have advanced MS Office including PowerPoint, and computer skills, personal timekeeping and management skills and an ability to adapt.
- Diary management and highly evolved coordination and administration management skills.

The salary for this position is TfNSW Grade 5 ($87,256 - $95,984) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
