**What you’ll be doing**
The objective of the Schedule Planner role is to design the development and delivery of domestic and international schedules in consultation with a variety of commercial and operational stakeholders.
You will report into the Manager, Schedule Management and be responsible in leading the development of seasonal/monthly schedules, ensuring they are optimised. You will develop different scheduling scenarios as required. Furthermore, you will optimise monthly and short to medium term schedules, identifying network opportunities, connections, resolving operational constraints, meeting the predicted OTP target and deliver schedules to internal and external customers accurately and on time. You will be required to recommend and implement tactical changes to actively optimise the monthly schedule, through evaluating capacity, timings, connections (VA metal and partner airlines), and resolve operational challenges while meeting the commercial needs of the business.
This role requires an ability to maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, by providing expert advice and circulating scheduling options to various stakeholders to gain resolution on preferred schedule to be implemented. You will also be required to support, mentor and develop junior team members.
**_ Further responsibilities:_**
- Meet predetermined deadlines for the delivery of detailed & accurate schedule data to internal and external customers
- Build & maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
- Ensure fleet numbers are allocated correctly for required flying programme including allocation of Operational and Engineering spares
- Distribute key reports for stakeholder review and feedback, communicate changes and act as a specialist advisor on scheduling or slot related matters

- Effectively integrate the operational spare to meet predicted OTP (On Time Performance) target
- Provide timely and quality advice to assist the business to arrive at a mutually agreeable position on schedule constraints
- Continually develop and recommend enhancements in processes to improve/streamline work practices
**You’ll be great in this role if you**
- 2 years Airline Schedule Planning or similar relevant scheduling experience
- Excellent skills in Excel and experience managing and manipulating large data-sets
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other stakeholders
- Ability to work autonomously and under pressure
- A collaborator and team player
- Excellent attention to detail
