Cross River Rail Delivery Authority (CRRDA)…Your chance to work with the best
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is building a new 10.2km rail line that includes 5.9km of twin tunnels running under the Brisbane River and CBD; with four new underground stations at Boggo Road, Woolloongabba, Albert Street and Roma Street.
Once complete, it will provide trains with a much-needed alternative rail path through the core of the current SEQ Rail network, unlocking a bottleneck and allowing more trains to run more often across the whole of South East Queensland.
The Cross River Rail Delivery Authority is also delivering multiple supporting projects and activities in conjunction with Department of Transport and Main Road. These include accessibility rebuilds for eight surface stations, construction of three new stations on the Gold Coast; upgrades for stabling yards; track works and surface rail enhancements; and the introduction of a new ETCS digital signalling system.
About the Role
As Integration Planner and Scheduler, you will support the integrated scheduling function for Cross River Rail, one of Queensland's most complex infrastructure programs. Working within the Lead Integrator team, you will plan and schedule integration activities that align construction, systems, testing, commissioning, assurance and operational readiness, ensuring all elements come together on time for passenger service commencement.
The role involves maintaining and governing the Integrated Target Schedule (ITS), coordinating milestones and dependencies across multiple delivery partners, and contributing schedule risk analysis to inform program decisions. You will collaborate closely with fellow planners, schedulers and controls professionals to ensure schedule inputs are accurate, risk-informed and aligned with program sequencing. This is a unique opportunity to develop your expertise in integration planning on a city-shaping project.
This opportunity is offered as a two-year fixed term contract with possible extension.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and maintenance of the Integrated Target Schedule (ITS), ensuring program milestones, dependencies and integration deliverables are accurately represented across all delivery partners
- Work collaboratively with program planners, delivery contractors and government stakeholders to align schedules and resolve interface issues
- Coordinate schedule inputs with a focus on systems integration, testing, commissioning, operational readiness and transition to operations
- Support the development and ongoing maintenance of the Integration Program suite of artefacts, including the Integration Program Summary and Operational Readiness Integrated Schedule
- Provide planning and scheduling guidance to delivery partners and other schedulers to ensure alignment with CRRDA requirements.
- Collaboratively develop and maintain Schedule Risk Assessments / Analysis (SRA) for the Integration Program suite of schedules to identify potential delays, risks and opportunities across program phases
- Support regular scheduling review and reporting cycles (weekly, monthly, quarterly) to validate accuracy, sequencing and integration of schedules
- Assist in the continuous improvement of program controls processes, tools and scheduling methodologies
About You:
- Proven experience in collaborative planning and scheduling of complex projects, with a strong ability to build and maintain productive relationships with stakeholders across government and industry
- Experience in planning, scheduling and conducting schedule risk analysis for major projects or programs; rail infrastructure experience desirable
- Skilled in developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules using Primavera P6 (mandatory); Primavera Risk Analysis desirable
- Experience scheduling integration activities such as systems integration, testing, commissioning and operational readiness.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret and report data using tools such as Power BI
- Demonstrated initiative, time management and problem-solving skills to deliver priorities in a high-demand program environment
- Ability to integrate schedule and cost data to support Critical Path Method (CPM) and Earned Value (EV) analysis
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, construction management or a related discipline
