**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Serve as a resource to staff regarding quality improvement initiatives and infection control practices
- Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of infection control policies and procedures
- Monitor compliance with infection control policies and procedures among staff
- Investigate outbreaks of infections and collaborate with the Infection Control Practitioner to develop corrective action plans
- Educate staff on infection control practices through in-services and individualized instruction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of infection control practices and trends
- Serve on the hospital’s Infection Control Committee
- Assist with the development and implementation of quality assurance programs
- Monitor compliance with quality assurance standards among staff
- Investigate incidents and complaints related to quality of care
- Educate staff on quality assurance practices through in-services and individualized instruction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of quality assurance practices and trends

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current state licensure
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field
- 3-5 years of experience preffered in quality assurance, infection control, or risk management
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Experience with accreditation standards, such as Joint Commission or CMS
- Familiarity with quality improvement tools and techniques
- Certification in quality assurance or infection control

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $70.00 per hour
