Elwood Bathers is a stunning coastal venue offering spectacular ocean views, a vibrant restaurant, private dining rooms, event spaces, an outdoor terrace, and a welcoming bar area.

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on, and highly organised Restaurant Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and leading a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless and efficient service
  • Lead, train, and roster the front-of-house team to deliver consistent excellence
  • Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards
  • Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that leaves a lasting impression on guests
  • Manage guest feedback and resolve issues with professionalism and care
  • Set and uphold high service standards across all areas of operation
  • Foster a positive, motivated, and collaborative team culture
  • Conduct regular team training and performance development sessions
  • Identify opportunities to enhance profitability and overall guest satisfaction
  • Implement and uphold operational procedures and policies

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a comparable leadership role
  • Proven success in a high-volume or premium dining environment
  • Confident leading and inspiring a diverse team in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Available for both lunch and dinner shifts across a 7-day rotating roster
  • Passionate about hospitality, food, and wine
  • Energetic, approachable, and committed to excellence
  • Professional presentation and communication skills
  • A genuine focus on guest experience - always willing to go the extra mile
