Change Manager

**Your new role**

Due to growth in our business, Proximity is currently seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Change Manager to join our team.

At Proximity, the role of Change Manager is perfect for those who have diverse experience within this space and/or are seeking professional variety moving forward. Prior experience working within or with a Federal Government department in a change management position will see you excel in this position.

This position is based in our Canberra office, where you will be a key team member delivering on-site services to a key client of ours within the federal government.

A current Australian Security Clearance is required.

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience and proven capability in the following areas:

- You enjoy helping government clients solve real problems.
- You have led and delivered significant change initiatives
- You have led or worked as part of a broader change management team
- You can successfully operate and integrate into client teams and environments.
- You have highly regarded stakeholder engagement and management skills and clients find you helpful and genuine.
- You have strong communications skills and the ability to work collaboratively, liaise and engage with a variety of stakeholders.
- You have strong strategic and analytical skills and experience in using data to support recommended actions.
- Curiosity. The desire to test new ideas or seek new information to inform decisions.
- You are an innovator who can think outside of the standard process to get better value outcomes.

- Been in a previous position where you have experience:

- Leading change initiatives
- Working collaboratively with other business areas to implement the changes
- Developing key messages and content to support the changes
- Reporting on progress to agreed KPIs
- Managed complex client issues with a strategic lens to determine a solution
- Can roll your sleeves up and ‘get things done’
- The capacity to develop strong knowledge of and an understanding of all Proximity service lines and the capability of the Proximity team.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and very high-level professional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of different people.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, including the ability to set priorities and work to strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently, and as part of a team.
- An understanding of how the government sector operates as Proximity is a government first business.
