This is not your standard Payments and Accounts Officer opportunity. As the Grower Payments and Accounts Officer at Queensland Cotton you will be part of Olam Agri, a global leader in supply chain management of agricultural commodities. Olam Agri operates in multiple products including cotton, cottonseed and pulses, and our colleagues across 30 plus countries, handle dozens of other commodities too. We are looking to grow the business significantly in the coming years so you will be joining the team at an exciting time.

**About the opportunity**

Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, the Grower Payments and Accounts Officer will help manage the end-to-end grower payments process and resolve queries relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash management.

**What you'll need to bring**

Ideally you will have 3-5 years previous experience in a similar role, preferably in an agricultural, or manufacturing environment. To be successful you must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong customer services skills and the ability to build and maintain good relationships with diverse stakeholders. You will be proactive in all tasks and be able to work both independently and as part of a broader team. No two days are the same and you will need to have a sense of urgency, be agile and resilient to manage conflicting priorities and demands. We use SAP and exposure to this software will be highly regarded.

As we are a global company, a lot of our transactional work is actioned by a global support team based in India. You will need to be flexible working within this support structure.
