**About the role**
As the **Key Client Account Manager **, in this strategic hands-on role, you will support the General Manager of wholesale to drive growth. Contributing to the execution of wholesale to grow in this segment, your key focus will be on assessment, onboarding, and commercial growth of new customers. You will be key in supporting the market entry and profitable growth of **Specialist Acquiring services for Global Payments Australia.**
Other key areas of focus:
- Manage the transition of new customers to Global Payments such as overseeing implementation planning and coordinating technical execution across the business for new customers;
- Learn and maintain a strong working knowledge of the product set and value proposition;
- Assist with the discovery and assessment process for new customers;
- Learn, develop and share industry and acquiring domain knowledge to internal marketing, product, operations and sales teams;
- Contribute to revenue growth targets for the Wholesale portfolio;
- Assist with pre-sales and sales engagements for Wholesale acquiring opportunities;
- Collaborate with required internal stakeholders to assign appropriate resources to opportunities including needs analysis and/or technical assistance;
- Ongoing account management with key Wholesale customers.
**About you**
We are looking for an energetic self-starter who enjoys variety in their work with experience and a keen interest in the banking and payments space. You will pride yourself on your ability to build and maintain relationships, possessing excellent communication skills which allow you to influence key decision makers. Additionally, you will have:
**Essential Skills and Experience**
- 5+ years experience as a B2B Account Manager or similar;
- Payments industry knowledge and experience;
- Ideally you will have experience within either the Merchant Acquiring/Issuing landscape, or B2B sales in the mid market customer segment
- Experience and knowledge of credit and risk assessments;
- Broad understanding of integration architectures and experience with a variety of API’s;
- Excellent negotiation skills with a passion to drive commercial outcomes;
- Good analytical & problem solving skills with strong attention to detail;
- Exceptional business and commercial skills including the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders;
- A demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement, innovation and learning ;
- A team player and a quick learner, who is comfortable working in a business and industry that is constantly evolving.
