**About the role**

Due to the recent establishment of our sustainability practice, we have this exciting, newly created opportunity for an experienced ESG Advisory and Reporting Manager. As a Manager in the sustainability practice at our firm, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of ESG strategies and systems for our clients with a focus initially on getting our client ready for climate reporting. You will work closely with our clients to assess, analyse, and enhance their environmental, social, and governance strategy, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory standards to enable effective and compliant reporting.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage a portfolio of clients to deliver high quality services on time, as well as individually contributing to high-quality deliverables.
- Utilise strong project management skills to ensure engagement timelines and client expectation are met.
- Manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
- Work closely with our clients and sector specialists to deliver exceptional outcomes
- Lead the facilitation of stakeholder engagement and client workshops.
- Provide leadership, support and resources to team members to empower them to perform to their maximum capacity
- Assist clients to develop best practice reporting for their stakeholders particularly in the context of convergence between sustainability / ESG reporting and financial reporting
- Identify and develop existing and potential business opportunities and developing these into profitable outcomes for the firm
- Be an active team member identifying and implementing measures to improve divisional performance

**Key Skills and Experience**:
A minimum of 5 years
- experience in governance and risk roles
- Be a fully qualified CA/CPA.
- Experience with gap analysis and materiality assessments
- Familiar with other ESG reporting frameworks such as TCFD, GRI, ISSB, NGERS
- Knowledge and experience of international and Australian sustainability frameworks is essential
- Up to date with latest developments in the ESG regulatory environment
- Previous exposure to and have developed good working relationships with clients.
- Good time management skills and the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- Excellent staff leadership skills and prior experience in managing a group of people.
- Present professionally and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills which will be consistently used in dealings with clients, Partners and staff members.
- Facilitating and presenting skills, including one-on-one and group consultations
- Experience in designing, implementing and/or carrying out risk, governance and compliance frameworks, standards, audits and reviews.
