Job Purpose:
The Relationship Manager is responsible for proactively managing existing customers, building and nurturing relationships within a defined territory. The portfolio consists of ~100 small to mid-sized clients in NSW, SA, Perth.
The role will be tasked with upselling variety of LexisNexis products, identifying opportunities to grow accounts, increasing portfolio value via new solutions and securing longer-term agreements, and driving customer retention.
This is a permanent full-time role based in either Sydney, Brisbane or Perth with the possibility of combined home/office-based arrangements to have flexible work-life balance.
**Responsibilities**:
- Achieve Target - Grow existing accounts with existing and new products that add value to the customer an increase revenue- Relationship Management - Establish meaningful relationship with all customers in the territory virtually and in person- Territory Plan - Develop an annual territory strategic plan for all customers in designated territory- Opportunity Management - Manage progress of the opportunity through the sale stages (Prospect, Connect, Discover, Develop, Propose, Contract, Close)- Product Knowledge - Solid understanding of customer and market trends relevant to your customers industry.- Reporting - Provide customer insights and customer analysis as required.
**Requirements**:
- Degree qualified with strong relationship management/account management experience ideally within legal / SAAS / software services sales industries.- Demonstrated experience using solution and consultative selling approaches.- B2B selling experience to value of $100K plus.- Territory and stakeholder management at executive level with the ability to nurture relationships at a strategic level.- Excellent- communication
- and conflict resolution skills and proven ability to negotiate.- Ability to write complex correspondence and proposals.- Experience with design and implementation of business development strategy.- Strong numeracy skills, sales reporting and CRM management with proficiency in MS Excel.
