**Your new role**
This is an exciting role where an APS5 Program Officer you will be involved though assisting the broader team in the delivery of key programs that play a crucial role in upholding the Nations Security interests. Duties of this role are inclusive of but not limited to the following;
- Assist with the implementation of large-scale programs
- Drafting and/or contributing to high level communication documents
- Contribute to the successful delivery of program management
- Preparing reports and addressing risks pertaining to the delivery of programs
- Provide advice and technical expertise to guide program activities
- Administrative work such as coordinating meetings with stakeholders, researching and coordination tasks as required to support the team
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and reporting on program progress

**What you'll need to succeed**
Your previous experience in a similar role within the Australian Public Service will lead to your success. You will display the ability to maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships, excellent organisational skills, proficient writing skills and an understanding of the Australian Government, Public Sector environment.

Security requirements: You must be an Australian citizen and possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a Federal Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1 or NV2)
