**About us**:
Cannoleria is a unique concept that specialises in the traditional Sicilian dessert, Cannoli. Our Sicilian treats are freshly filled with Ricotta and flavoured with seasonal and natural produce to create an endless variety of options. This makes our concept the first of its kind Cannoleria operates 6 cannoli stores around Melbourne, a wholesale department, and a fast-growing events department.

**About Cannoleria Events Department**:
We operate Cannoli Carts at various type of events (weddings, corporate/private events) and several Cannoleria Pop-up at various location locally or interstate throughout the year (Music festivals, food festivals, major events, markets ). Our team also runs pop-up stores under a couple of different sister brands offering savoury food for private events, festivals, and markets. We also offer a in house catering and a private chef service.

Cannoleria Events department is on the hunt for an enthusiastic events all-rounder to join our team.

**About you**:
Experience working in hospitality or in the event’s industry is a plus.
You are charismatic with OUTSTANDING communication skills
Personal style/presentation is on point
Have a current full driver’s licence.

You are reliable, punctual, and available to work with us Wednesday to Sunday (Early week events/operations jobs can be sometimes possible but less frequent), different working hours depending on events calendar, includes early start or late-night finish.

Position based at our HQ in Heidelberg West (3081) but you will be mainly on the road at various offsite events locations (more often locally but possibly interstate sometimes)

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities of the role include (but not limited to):
Events Operations/Logistic:

- Physical tasks like loading/unloading vehicle
- Being able to confidentially drive a Van or Small truck (Full Car drivers licence mandatory)
- Maintaining operation/dispatch area clean and tidy
- Preparing events pack and goods to be sent to events
- Forklift licence is a plus but not mandatory

Running of events:

- Bump-in/out cannoli carts / cannoli pop-up stores at events venues, private properties, or festivals/markets
- Being confident to work on your own or as a team depending on events size
- Setting up & operate cannoli cart / pop-up store
- Being confident to liaise with venues staff / high-end clients / events organisers on the day of the event
- Food handling: piping fresh cannoli and serving guests will be the main duties on events. It will have to be up to Cannoleria standards respecting strict policies and processes (ricotta filling tasting is part of the process of making our cannoli to ensure strict quality control)
- Providing Exceptional Customer Service (our customers and their guests satisfaction is the most important thing for our business)
- Cleaning duties

**Pay above award rate**. Position under the hospitality industry award.
