Clinical Trials Assistant

**Role Type**: 12-month full time contract
**Salary**: $64,290 - $72,798 per annum plus super
**The opportunity**:
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Trial Assistant to provide essential clerical and administrative support to our Clinical Trial Unit (CTU) at the Children’s Cancer Centre. As part of our dynamic team, you will assist in various stages of clinical trials, from study start-up to closeout and archival, ensuring regulatory compliance and smooth operational flow.
**Your responsibilities include**:
- Providing Administrative support to team members of the Clinical Trials Unit
- Assisting unit staff with the day to day running of multiple clinical trials, as needed
- Interpreting the needs and priorities within the team to provide effective administrative support
- Maintaining regulatory files in accordance with ICH GCP and the unit’s SOPs
- Ensuring electronic and hard copy filing is conducted in a timely manner and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Effectively coordinating and monitoring visits as required
- Actively coordinating financial processes in compliance with institutional policies and regulatory guidelines

- Demonstrated ability to appropriately prioritise competing tasks and workload
- High level administrative skills with proven experience and excellent attention to detail
- Relevant experience in a clinical trial setting, similar research or healthcare related environment is desirable
- Ability to work flexibly, autonomously and within a small multidisciplinary team within a clinical based environment and collaborate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated high attention to detail and accuracy of data input
