**Role Overview**:
As the UX Lead, you will play a pivotal role in driving the user-centred design strategy for our sports tech products. You'll lead a talented team of UX designers, collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and athletes, to create intuitive, immersive, and game-changing user experiences. Your deep knowledge of the sports tech industry will be instrumental in shaping their design roadmap and setting new industry standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and inspire a team of UX designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.
- Define and execute the UX design strategy, aligning it with our business goals and the unique needs of sports technology users.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and athletes to understand user requirements and translate them into innovative design solutions.
- Develop user personas, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on designs for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sports tech, incorporating them into our design processes and pushing the boundaries of innovation.
- Champion the importance of user-centred design throughout the organisation, evangelising the value it brings to our products and users.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of experience in UX design, with a focus on sports technology or related fields.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of UX designers, driving their professional growth and delivering exceptional results.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your ability to create innovative user experiences and design strategies for sports tech products.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, usability best practices, and design thinking methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and influence stakeholders.
- Passion for sports and a deep understanding of the sports tech landscape, including wearables, performance analytics, virtual reality, or augmented reality.
