**Your next exciting job opportunity -**
We are on the lookout for **Water Efficiency Consultants** to join our team in **Sydney.** This role involves undertaking and leading professional engineering tasks and projects relating to water consumption investigation and analysis as part of a small team. Most projects are to identify and recommend practical and cost-effective opportunities to improve water efficiency in a variety of different businesses.
The work will require multiple skillsets used with judgement:
- Engagement with various clients and collaborators,
- Data analysis and manipulation with spreadsheets and similar tools,
- Site visit investigations,
- Report writing and;
- Presentation of findings.
**In this role you will be able to**:
- Perform technical work and exercises individual judgement and initiative.
- Complete water efficiency assessments - involving analysis of flow data from water meters, meetings with site staff, site investigations, analysis, reporting and presentation.
- Liaise with clients, potential and current, for the purposes of service delivery, networking and business development.
- Act as Project Manager on a range of projects, managing projects to scope and within time, cost and quality requirements.
- Prepare proposal and bids with limited guidance.
- Adhere to quality, safety and environmental procedures/standards.
- May supervise staff as necessary to complete assignments.
- May share knowledge and acts as mentor to more junior staff within area of expertise.
- May contribute to technical papers and industry/conference presentations.
**Relevant Education, Experience, and Skills**:
**Essential**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science or other relevant area of study.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience post-graduation.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective at building trust and rapport with people quickly.
- Results orientation.
**Desirable**:
- Experience working within a multi-site organisation.
- Experience working within the engineering or resources sector.
- Post-graduate qualifications in environmental management or other relevant area of study
