My clients are seeking a pro-active technical professional to lead their expanding and successful flooding and water business. They are a team of passionate engineers focused on making innovative engineering solutions for their clients that also benefit the community and beyond.

**Your new role**

This role will have you working on engineering solutions for Major Infrastructure, Building and Land Development Projects.

You are a leader who has commercial acumen and technical knowledge to share with a passionate and driven team. This role will be part of a national team that is growing in Victoria and at a stage of development that will embrace effective and professional leadership.
This role will provide the opportunity to work alongside the local directors and the National Water Lead in Melbourne, to further grow the Victorian presence.

You will be responsible for:

- Leading packages for Major Road, Rail and Metro Infrastructure Projects including flooding and water input into detailed design, communicating with clients and stakeholders.
- Technical delivery of disaster recovery projects, Flood Studies, Risk Management Plans, Evacuation Management and Impact Assessments.
- Reviewing work of others and technical support to junior staff
- Independent Verification

**What you'll need to succeed**

You will have a developed technical understanding of the principles and approaches of ARR2019 and of relevant local and state flooding legislation and policy and approval pathways.

Experience and or existing relationships within the relevant state authorities in your region such as Melbourne Water etc.

You will be experienced in cross-drainage design principals, flood mitigation and management for major infrastructure projects.

Experience using 12d, DRAINS and MUSIC will also be highly considered.
