This is a key position providing essential support to Chief Medical Officer and Academic Services leadership team, in a fast paced and dynamic environment. Success in this position requires advanced operating skills, being highly organised, able to manage work processes and systems, and exceptional relating skills. Approachability, interpersonal savvy and resilience are essential.

This position is based in the corporate offices in Richmond, along with the Chief Medical Officer and leadership team. Understanding and anticipating requirements to support the Chief Medical Officer is key. The Chief Medical Officer has high energy and drive, with great enthusiasm and passion to shape the future of Academic Services at Epworth. No two days are the same

**To be successful in this role**

You need to be proactive, flexible, and an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives on challenges in a fast paced, dynamic executive office. A natural communicator, you take a respectful consultative approach where you liaise effectively and sensitively among a diverse group of stakeholders. You would have a genuine interest to understand the work the executive and team undertake to enable you to make quality autonomous decisions.

You are a multi-tasking expert, able to keep the day’s activities running smoothly as well as balancing attention for detail for future requirements, while demonstrating composure and patience. Your strength in priority setting, timely decision making and professional manner will be your asset.

You will have:

- Proven experience in a similar role
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to draft correspondence and edit committee papers
- Ability in supporting committees, including the timely preparation of agendas, minutes, and tracking of actions
- Advanced computer skills including a comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office365 including Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Commitment to excellent customer service and continuous improvement
- Strong judgement and discretion
