An exciting opportunity exists for a talented and passionate individual to join the Digital Branch as a Lead UX Designer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.

You will work between these two teams to broaden our understanding of users and problems through research projects; translate these insights into solutions through scoping, wireframing and prototyping; and then ensure your concepts are tested in the real world.

This challenging and multi-faceted role will demand your exceptional communication and leadership skills, requiring you to lead a multi-disciplinary team to deliver outstanding outcomes for SDP's customers and Victorian citizens.

You'll contribute design vision to the strategic direction for SDPs products, and your proven ability to creatively solve problems and adapt easily to changing circumstances is a must. Your genuine passion for users, technology and human-centred design will be favourably regarded.
- Contribute to the product and experience strategy for SDP.
- Provide empathetic, passionate leadership to a cross-disciplinary design team consisting of UX designers, researchers, and UI designers.
- Provide authoritative direction and guidance towards the planning and execution of design projects across multiple project streams and teams, ensuring that these projects meet up with SDP strategic objectives.
- Create and implement workflows, processes and standards to ensure human-centred design is embedded across the product team and wider branch.
- Work with and influence a wide range of stakeholders to ensure that the voice of the user is championed in all key decision making.
