**About the Role**

As Head of Product, you’ll lead a critical part of Sportsbet’s Product Portfolio, driving innovative, customer-centric experiences across our platforms. This is a high-impact role that blends strategic thinking, hands-on leadership, and commercial accountability. You’ll shape the product vision and roadmap for your portfolio, ensuring alignment across teams and stakeholders to deliver meaningful value to our customers and the business.

Leading a talented team of Product Managers, you’ll foster a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and excellence, while championing best-in-class product practices. As a key member of our Product Leadership Team, you’ll work closely with the GM of Product and peers to influence Sportsbet’s broader product strategy, strengthen cross-functional alignment, and continuously improve how we work.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Define and champion a clear portfolio strategy aligned with Sportsbet’s broader business and customer vision, translating it into quarterly themes and an actionable roadmap.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of Product Managers, fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and inclusive leadership.
- Drive thought leadership by deeply understanding user needs, emerging technologies, market trends, and competitor insights.
- Work cross-functionally to identify, validate, and deliver new product opportunities that create value for customers and commercial impact for the business.
- Champion agile methodologies and strong product development practices, ensuring speed, scale, and quality in execution.
- Collaborate with customer-facing and commercial teams to surface opportunities for optimisation and continuously improve product performance.
- Set and track measurable OKRs and key product performance metrics, holding yourself and the team accountable for results.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, innovation, and continuous improvement across your team and the wider Product function.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and design partners to ensure strong execution and cohesive, end-to-end product experiences.
- Actively contribute to shaping product leadership and capability across the business, influencing how we work and grow as a function.

**Key requirements**:

- 5 - 7 years in product management, including leadership of product teams
- Experience in fast paced/high change and/or growth organisation
- Experience operating in and leading cross functional teams incl. product management, marketing, customer acquisitions and retention and finance.
- Demonstrable project management experience - ability to lead multiple time sensitive projects.
- Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills
- Note: It is not critical to have a background or personal interest in Sports & Racing
