To contribute to this vision our Accounts Payable is responsible for the management and integrity of the Accounts Payable function, payroll and insurance.

Responsibilities and Accountability:
Accounts Payable
- Manage Accounts Payable, including processing supplier invoices, credits and payments on a daily basis
- Collate, reconcile and post all Targus invoices.
- Prepare monthly AP reconciliations, and work paper file documentation
- Perform proper A/P agings and present to Finance Director regularly informing of status
- Ensure in collaboration with Team Assistant, that the PO register is complete and that liabilities are properly recorded
- Review AP payments against the Targus bank accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely weekly AP reconciliations observing cut-off as per agreed schedule.
- Ensure that all prerequisite AP bank reconciliations and PO analysis has been done so that Cash Flow forecasts can be filed on a timely basis
- Maintain a functional and harmonious relationship with suppliers including meeting prescribed trading terms.

Payroll
- Ensure that any leave that is scheduled for any given month is properly recorded in the ADP payroll run
- Learn Xero to be able to prepare the NZ payroll filings

Vendor/Supplier Management
- Weekly Reconciliation against Supplier statements
- Weekly cash flow forecasting data - supplier payments on a timely basis
- Manage relationship with Mail-Plus and record outgoing post prior to AM and PM mail pick up and reconcile at the end of each month against statement.
- Manage the E-Parcel process ensuring printing of labels, manifest for daily PM pick up, and reconcile at the end of each month.
- Maintenance of current contract filing for all annual rebate agreement

Accounting Support
- Maintain fixed asset schedule ensuring accuracy and within Australian Accounting guidelines.
- Cash Flow forecasting
- Responsible for ERP system maintenance for accounts payable ensuring accurate and complete details.
- Weekly Bank reconciliation
- Ensure that any required ERP migration UAT testing is performed on a timely basis consistent with Global Requirements
- Prepayments reconciliation and journals
- Accruals journal
- Inter-company Reconciliation on accounts payable with other Targus entities

Knowledge of Payroll Legislation (Possible)
- Administer and process monthly payroll.
- Answer employees’ payroll related enquires.
- Calculate and process final payment for terminated employees.
- Have good understanding and interpretation of awards and legislation.
- Responsible for superannuation calculation.
- Payroll tax payment and lodgement

General
- Support Accounts Receivable when required during absences
- Perform Contract management for each of the insurance coverages deemed necessary for Targus Australian and New Zealand
- Facilitate and assist in the documentation of any new processes necessary for new and existing ERP requirements
- Provide competent payroll services to cover requirements for New Zealand
- Confirm and ensure compliance with workers compensation requirements for each state and country in which we have employees
