**About Us**

The Right to Information Team is responsible for overseeing SafeWork NSW’s statutory responsibilities under the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act).
This role is responsible for providing administrative support services to facilitate the operation of the Right to Information Team.

**About the Role**

This role is based in a high volume, fast paced and front-line structured environment. The position holder will provide various administrative services, including but not limited to, records management, acknowledgement of requests for information under the GIPA Act, routine correspondence, collecting and compiling information, responding to customer enquiries.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide professional customer service to the public while meeting required timeframes.
- Responding to enquiries and escalating issues as required, to ensure the provision of accurate information.
- Maintain accurate records to ensure current and relevant information is available.
- Prioritising workflow in a high-volume environment where information from multiple internal and external sources needs to be considered.

**Key Challenges**:

- Delivering multiple administrative support activities and services in line with agreed standards, timeframes, and milestones, given tight legislative timeframes and the need to maintain confidentiality, accuracy and attention to detail.
- Meeting competing priorities while ensuring customer and/or business needs are met.

Salary Grade 3/4, with the base salary for this role starting at $82193 base plus superannuation
