**The Role and Duties**
You will partner closely with key stakeholders across our office network. Reporting to the Head of Finance and People, located in Fitzroy with WFH flexibility, this is a true Business Partnering role providing support, guidance and leadership across the full employee lifecycle.

You will be degree qualified in Business and/or Human Resources and previous experience in a generalist HR role will be highly regarded.

**Main Tasks**
- Provide HR advice and services to management and staff.
- Design, develop and implement in consultation with the leadership team, an ongoing HR strategic plan including work health and safety plan.
- Handle grievances raised by staff or disputes of a complex nature which may involve investigations.
- Review and implement policies in line with applicable legislative change.
- Manage, review, and make recommendations for remuneration increases and budgets across the organisation.
- Oversee the organisations workers compensation and return to work programme across multiple locations.
- Oversee the maintenance of personnel and other HR records utilising our HR platform.
- Maintain awareness of compliance with federal and state legislation, corporate governance, OH&S risk assessments and management.
- Ensure the management of risk and proactively protect the company's professional image and brand.
- Payroll review for accuracy and compliance.
- Handle payroll queries and management of various leave types.

**Required Qualities**
- A minimum of five years’ experience in the field of human resources with experience in covering a broad generalist remit.
- Knowledge of current employment law and practises.
- Degree/ diploma qualifications and previous industry experience in HR generalist role.
- HR skills in performance management, salary benchmarking, career paths, employment law.
- Ability to investigate matters often of a complex or sensitive nature.
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple competing tasks.
