Skill Hire are working in conjunction with a leading mining services company whose portfolio is across lithium and iron ore.

**An excellent opportunity has become available for a Trainer and Assessor to join our clients team. In this role, you will be accountable for conducting personnel's training and assessment in accordance with the requirements of the training package and processes.**

Depending on locations rosters vary between 8:6 with some construction sites 2:1.

In this role, you are required to train and assess personnel in the safe and efficient operation of Surface Mobile Equipment.

**Qualifications**:

- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment **TAE40116**:

- Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills TAELLN411 or TAELL401A
- Design and develop assessment tools TAEASS502 or TAESS502A or TAE55502B
- Required to hold any or all of the following National Competencies in the operation of Surface Mobile Equipment Training Packages (RII) RIIMPO, RIIWHS, RIIHAN, RIIBHD, MSMWHS unit competencies

**Skills and Experience**:

- Previous experience as a Trainer and Assessor for High-Risk and mobile plant equipment within a mining background
- Able to demonstrate vocational competencies
- Ability's to demonstrate current industry skills and experience directly relevant to the training being undertaken
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Self-directed and highly motivated
