As a RANZCP Advanced Certificate Registrar in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, you will be expected to work in an accredited training role in accordance with RANZCP Registrar requirements and perform the following functions as a Psychiatry Registrar;
- Assess and treat patients with mental illness, with appropriate level of supervision from the consultant psychiatrist
- Provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting
- Liaise with health care professionals [HCP] across teams and divisions within Austin Health as well as external to the Austin
- Participation in after hours and ECT rosters
- Active participation in the weekly registrar education program and peer support
- Active engagement in teaching and supervision for medical students/Interns/HMOs
