**Administrative Assistant, Clerk Grade 1/2, Wollongong**
- An exciting opportunity exists for an Administrative Assistant to join in the NSW SES Fleet Services Team
- Work in a volunteer-based agency supporting communities of NSW
- Full-time temporary position until 30 June 2025
- Location: NSW SES State Headquarters, Wollongong. We offer hybrid working arrangements, requiring attendance in the office a few days per week.
**About the opportunity**
The Administrative Assistant provides timely and accurate administrative support across a range of tasks within the Fleet Services Team. This role requires excellent customer service skills, assisting our volunteers, internal and external stakeholders, and members of the public.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide administrative support for the fleet team, including:
- Responding to and resolving general administrative enquiries/issues.
- Meeting coordination and meeting minutes.
- Coordinating and maintaining the State Headquarters pool fleet, including:
- Organising proactive servicing, repairs, and maintenance.
- Coordinating vehicle cleaning.
- Conducting regular stocktakes of vehicle equipment, inspecting and replacing items as needed.
- Collecting and archiving vehicle running sheets.
- Managing vehicle booking requests.
- Investigating and resolving infringements and toll notices.
- Assisting with asset disposal and stocktaking.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Be a highly motivated individual with excellent organisational skills.
- Effectively manage a workload with multiple competing tasks.
- Be proactive, accountable, and thrive in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with all stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Possess sound computer skills, particularly with MS Office programs (SAP experience is advantageous).
- Remain calm and focused in challenging situations.
- Hold a current driver’s licence required.
