**Position Information**:
At Tarrawanna Public School, we believe in nurturing the potential of every student and providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for them to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Our commitment to excellence in education is driven by a team of dedicated educators who are passionate about inspiring young minds and fostering a lifelong love for learning. Our school has an enrolment of 160 students, including 18% Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. We have a FOII of 114 and 24% of students have a language background other than English.

We strive for academic excellence by implementing a comprehensive curriculum that is tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students. Through innovative teaching methods and personalized learning approaches, we aim to challenge and empower each child to reach their full potential and achieve academic success. Our school emphasizes the holistic development of students by offering a wide range of co-curricular and extracurricular activities. These opportunities enable students to explore their interests, develop essential life skills, and build confidence as they grow into well-rounded individuals.

**Selection Criteria**:
1. Approval to teach with demonstrated excellence in Infants and Primary (K-6), evidenced based pedagogy and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, data driven literacy and numeracy programs that impact student outcomes.

2. Commitment to whole-school, positive wellbeing programs, with a strong emphasis on effective classroom practice, positive learning environments and inclusive strategies to engage and support a diverse range of students.

3. Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build positive relationships with all members of the school community and contribute to a collaborative, inclusive school culture.

4. Capacity and commitment to creating enriching opportunities for students through extra-curricular programs such as, but not limited to, CAPA, Aboriginal Education, STEM and HPGE enrichment.
