As part of a once-in-a-generation public health reform, SEPHU leads place-based action to reduce preventable illness and promote community wellbeing.

**About the Role**

As a _Partnerships Lead_, you will drive collaboration and integrated planning across sectors to support the implementation of SEPHU’s **Population Health Catchment Plan**. You’ll work with local governments, community health organisations, and priority population groups to co-design and deliver initiatives that are evidence-informed, equity-focused, and responsive to local needs.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships across local government, community health, and prevention sectors.
- Lead and support community engagement, ensuring local voices shape action.
- Coordinate and implement place-based prevention initiatives targeting social, environmental and commercial determinants of health.
- Strengthen systems that support integrated prevention delivery and workforce development.
- Contribute to monitoring, evaluation and reporting to track outcomes and improve system impact.
- Represent SEPHU in external forums and drive aligned, collaborative action.

**About You**

You are an experienced public health or health promotion professional with:

- A tertiary qualification in health promotion, public health, or a related field (postgraduate qualifications desirable).
- Demonstrated experience in systems-based prevention approaches and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across diverse stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of population health, equity, and place-based planning.
- A current Victorian driver’s licence and relevant clearances (Working with Children Check, Police Check, and immunisation records).
