Ampersand International is partnering with a leading global engineering firm known as the creative force at the heart of many of the world’s most prominent projects in the built environment. They are currently looking to appoint an experienced Bid Manager to join their high performing regional team to implement and execute its bids and pursuits strategy across WA.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

This is a dynamic role that includes a diverse set of responsibilities:

- Overall management of client pitches and promoting best practice.
- Supporting evaluation of bids and pursuits using ‘go/no go’ process.
- Advising on new business / client opportunities.
- Promote the tracking, reporting and analysis of bids to improve service delivery.
- Provide evaluations on key pitches to report on improvements or successes - including assessing finances, unique selling points, skills gaps and client specific requirements.
- Support in the preparation and rehearsal for tender presentations, providing guidance and coaching.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders in the project team.
- Work to establish, maintain and drive a new business pipeline.
- Manage the bid sign-off and governance process.
- Build the profile of the bids team and act as the main point of contact.

To be successful, you should present with the following:

- At least 7 years' Bids & Pursuit Management experience within a built environment or infrastructure sector.
- A skilled communicator with the ability to win trust, influence and establish credibility at senior levels.
- Excellent project management skills, delivers on time and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills.
- Commercially minded.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, organised and can prioritise tight or conflicting demands: stays calm under pressure.
- Creative in finding solutions to a client's problems and able to visualise alternative ways of presenting information.
- Motivated, diplomatic, a good team player and experienced manager.
- Takes personal pride in delivery: strives for excellence and to be best-in-class.
