The Star is growing as part of our renewal and transformation strategy. We are seeking Anti Money Laundering Quality Control Analysts to join our AML Quality Control team. As an analyst you will prioritise the quality control framework and complete assessments to ensure products, services and performance aligns with The Star’s AML/CTF Program.

**About the Role**
- Conduct reviews of all cases completed/closed by the AML operations and due diligence team with Star’s AML established standards. Ensure that appropriate decisions/recommendations have been made according to department standards, including relevant documentation to support outcomes confirmed
- Undertake periodic assessments of AML/CTF business outputs to confirm if outcomes meet governance and standards required to fulfill AML/CTF compliance obligations
- Contribute to and develop reports on findings and recommendations for escalation to senior leaders in AML/CTF at The star
- Conduct QC standards and procedures including risk based standards for compliance testing, and enter QC findings into a relevant database or reporting function
- Develop relationships and work with partners as a part of working groups in Financial Crime & Investigations and Legal & Risk

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Previous experience in an assurance or AML risk control position, preferred experience in a casino/gaming environment, bank corporation or government agency
- Extensive understanding of relevant statutory compliance and AML/CTF legislation
- Industry relevant Membership Associations and globally recognised Accreditations and ACAMS/ ICA would be highly favourable.
- CAMS (Audit) highly desirable
- A track record of timely project delivery, overcoming hurdles and complex issues
