Environmental Advisor

The Opportunity

KBR are seeking an enthusiastic, diligent, and experienced

Ecologist / Environmental Advisor

to assist with delivery across a broad range of environmental projects.

You will identify and manage environmental risks, develop management plans and frameworks for projects and consult and engage with key stakeholders.

You will be responsible for providing sound advice on ecology, environmental planning and approvals requirements and best practice environmental design and construction management issues during project tendering and project delivery.

**Key Responsibilities include**:
Assist in completing ecological surveys, including desktop and field surveys

Undertake technical and fieldwork tasks including soil, surface water, sediment and ecology in both terrestrial and marine environments

Provide ecological and environmental input, advice and expertise on studies and engineering projects

Develop environmental solutions in collaboration with other internal/external professionals

Managing and delivering projects on schedule, within budget and to the required quality standards

Assist with proposals and securing new work

Who are you?

You will be a team player who is proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating a high level of analytical and problem-solving ability with excellent communication skills.

You will have experience in the ecological, environmental, research, environmental planning and/or construction industry (or similar) with demonstrated ability to efficiently evaluate issues, review contractual obligations, communicate and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team and form solutions to problems for best environmental and project outcomes.

**You will hold the follow skills & qualifications**:
Hold an accredited bachelor’s degree in Science, Ecology, Environmental Management or similar.

Demonstrated industry experience, preferably within a consulting firm

Experience in technical and study report writing

Experience managing small to medium sized projects

Eligibility for membership in a professional association

Maintain and provide evidence of a current Driver’s License
