About the Role
As a Data Analyst in Australia Retail, you’ll play a key role in helping to enhance business reporting and insight for the Q initiative in Home loans. This role is responsible for collecting, cleansing, optimizing & interrogating data to generate business intelligence. Basic/Intermediate descriptive data analysis and visualisation, with the use of reporting tools (eg Qlikview, PowerBI).

What will your day look like?
**As a Data Analyst, you will**:

- Work with business analysts and key stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate business requirements into development features
- Support and maintaining BAU jobs
- Create reporting visualisations to generate insights, uplift customer engagement, and business performance
- Source and analyse data to provide quality insight and actionable recommendations
- Embody the organizational commitments to the AGILE methodology through actions and approach

What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

- Recent experience in a Data Analyst role
- Strong communication, presentation and data visualisation skills
- Strong ability to translate data insights into practical business recommendations
- Hands-on knowledge and experience with tools and techniques for analysis, data manipulation
- Technical experience with programming and data analysis on big data platforms
- Analytical and inquisitive mindset to continuously improve the level of insight surfaced
