**What this opportunity involves**:
The Real Estate Director role involves delivering operational, client & customer service excellence across the client portfolio. You will be required to manage the owned property assets and leased premises in a way that supports the service delivery functions of Victorian Government Agencies that occupy the properties. You will successfully lead a team of approximately 18 across Transactions, Property Asset Management and Occupancy Planning along with overseeing the Lease Administration division.

**An overview of the role**:

- Assist with transactional delivery as and when required
- Evaluate and report annually in the annual workspace audit report whether the current accommodation meets Client Agency requirements
- Report to the Client-on-Client Agencies occupancy issues identified together with any recommendations for resolution.
- Work collaboratively with the Client to develop an accommodation plan and provide annual updates to the accommodation plan.
- KPI performance along with critical date management.
- Responsible for input to the annual portfolio performance reports and budgeting/planning
- Oversight responsibility and input to the Property Asset Plans and Leased Premises Plans including recommendations and strategies
- Oversight and responsibility for the other functions and services that fall within the Real Estate Management Services Scope and Specifications
- Client relationship management - establishment of defined lines of communication and regular meetings with the client and other key stakeholders.
- Monthly and quarterly reporting requirements and being a key escalation point for any accommodation issues relating to Landlords.

- Minimum 7 years’ experience in property management and associated services with a track record of driving delivery to the highest standard.
- Tertiary qualification in Property/Real Estate or equivalent. Current Real Estate Licence or Certificate of Registration - Agents Representative Certificate.
- Ability to deal with a variety of complex issues concurrently, within tight operational deadlines.
- Goal oriented and focused on meeting performance targets.
- Excellent client service and communication skills along with leadership qualities.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
