Job Description

**Your opportunity to join our team**

Our farms at Pakenham & Nar Nar Goon are looking to employ a full time Farm Assistant Managers at their Rearing and Production farm. The farm roles are varied with one farm rearing birds for production farms and the other providing fertile eggs to hatcheries. The positions are physical roles involving egg collection, vaccinating, load out, cleaning and maintenance.

**Daily Tasks**
- Supervision of up to 12 staff and assist in compliance training for the site
- Work planning and prioritising
- Labour efficiency's within defined areas
- Minimum standards and animal welfare objectives are achieved.
- A willingness to coach and develop team members
- Have good organisational and time management skills
- Manage the farm in the absence of the Farm Manager

**You will bring to this role**
- Flexibility to work hours as the rotating roster requires early mornings and weekend work.
- Basic IT skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Mechanically minded
- Previous farming experience is desirable
