Our client, a well-known manufacturing company comes from America, is looking for a Senior Payroll/HR Officer. As our HR officer, you will have the opportunity to manage 40 employees across Melbourne. You will be responsible for the maintenance of full and accurate payroll records and payroll processing on a fortnightly basis.
**Your Key Responsibilities**
- Managing fortnightly payroll for approximately 200 employees across both Australian and New Zealand entities
- Handling payroll documentation, updating employee records, and maintaining accurate databases
- Manage all superannuation, PAYG tax calculations, lodgements, reconciliations, and work cover renewals
- Reconcile ERP General Ledger with wages from ADP Payroll system
- Lodge and manage workers compensation claims, liaising with Workcover agencies to when required
- Answer and resolve all payroll queries from employees and external agencies
Your Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in payroll/HR processing
- Strong understanding of payroll legislation, procedures and reporting requirementst
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with ADP Payroll System and handling high-volume payroll (highly regarded)
Pay: $75,024.75 - $83,126.27 per year
