Parts Interpreter

My client is a renowned provider of diesel fuel injection services, repairs, and parts solutions in Australia. With a distinguished history of technological innovation in diesel engine sub-systems, we maintain robust partnerships with major manufacturers across the country. They are currently seeking an experienced **Parts Interpreter** to join their team at their Virginia branch.
- Permanent Position
- Monday to Friday
- $60K - $70K + Super (Depending on experience)

As a **Parts Interpreter**, you will play a vital role in maintaining our spare parts inventory, overseeing administrative tasks, and managing warranties. Your primary focus will be to ensure efficient customer order processing and invoicing while coordinating orders and deliveries with suppliers and freight companies.
- **Specific Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To**:_
- Effective control and management of inventory for the branch
- Skilfully negotiate prices with all suppliers
- Promptly and accurately respond to parts and accessory inquiries over the phone
- Quote parts inquiries and provide assistance to the service team with service quotes
- Perform office administrative duties, including filing and issuing sales reports
- Generate purchase orders
- Handle invoicing functions using SAP for both suppliers and customers
- Collaborate with distributors for parts ordering and stock distribution
- Process and ship daily orders
- Manage incoming and outgoing goods
- Create, analyse, and offer stock reports and recommendations
- Transition invoicing functions into accounting software
- Attend to IROS claims and manage IROS systems and processes
- Maintain specified Gross Profit Margins on part sales
- Work towards achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Expand the customer and supplier database
- Demonstrate excellent time management skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Collaborate effectively with management and other internal staff
- Ensure customer satisfaction is consistently achieved
- Foster teamwork and provide assistance to the Front Line Service team for optimal personal and company performance
- Handle picking and packing of parts
- Process part returns and credits
- Comply with ISO standards
- **Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Responsibilities**:_
- Address customer needs and follow up on inquiries promptly
- Manage the receiving of goods and services
- Meet sales targets
- Maintain Gross Profit Margin targets
- Facilitate customer onboarding
- Manage supplier onboarding
- Work towards purchase price reductions

- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
