**About the role**
Based at our Sydney Head office and offered on a hybrid working pattern (3 days in the office and 2 days at home), we are looking for the Team Leader - Invoice Processing. This positions primary focus is to manage and mentor a team of 6 to ensure that the processing of invoices is actioned accurately and in a timely manner. Other key responsibilities of this role include;
- Meeting agreed payment terms, complying with GST legislation requirements and the company’s financial delegations’ matrix
- Managing processing queries and issues as required and act as the first point of escalation where issues occurs
- Reconciling key supplier accounts and actively working with suppliers and business to reduce aged balances and promote compliance.
- Proactive resolution of issues related to incorrect postings to minimise late payments and maximise discounts
- Lead, motivate and mentor team to meet assigned KPIs and SLAs
- Maintain relationships and provide support to the Accounts Payable Manager, Corporate Finance and Business Managers
- Monitoring of key AP performance indicators to track progress of initiatives
- Identify areas of improvement, recommend, and facilitate process improvement initiatives

**About you experience**
- Experience in accounts payable or related shared services function
- Experience with high volume, multi-system invoice processing environments
- Working knowledge of accounting principles
- Strong Excel and Word skills
- High level written and verbal communication
- Demonstrated process improvement experience & Change management skills
- Ability to challenge the status quo positively / continuous improvement mindset
