This role forms part of the wider A/NZ Service Transition group, delivering across a significant portfolio of customer environments. The A/NZ Service Transition team often shapes a new customer’s first impression of Datacom, influencing and validating their belief that they have chosen the right partner.
About the Role
As a Datacom Transition Manager your role is to successfully manage the onboarding of new or existing customer’s contracted services in a seamless manner, whilst enhancing our reputation, delivering value, innovating and leading the way. A Transition Manager’s role is truly challenging, requiring resilience, flexibility and responsiveness. Working as an engaged member of the Service Transition team and overall Customer Operations tower, leading ongoing activities such as the service improvement and innovation of Transition Management.
What you’ll do
As Transition Manager, you will be accountable for but not limited to:
- Ownership and management of the transition of services
- Participate in the continuous improvement of our Service Transition capability, including creation and ongoing improvement of standard templates
- RFP support and bid response.
What you’ll bring
This role requires a confident and experienced Transition Manager who is comfortable in using their skills and knowledge to meet our customer’s and Datacom’s service transition objectives. You will have demonstrable success in managing large service projects and strong RFP/ tender preparation skills. You will have the experience and knowledge to understand and manage the commercial aspects of Transitions, together with strong problem-solving skills. You will bring a proven track record of successful transitions, the management and bringing together of large teams; with a broad understanding of IT infrastructure services, including EUC, Cloud, Technical Operations, Networks, Security, Application management and Service Management. You will be a self-starter with excellent communication and influencing skills.
