- Join AGL as a Health and Safety Advisor - Graduate
AGL's Health & Safety Graduate program is your gateway to becoming a future health and safety professional and leader. As a Graduate Advisor in Health & Safety, you'll be placed within our Health & Safety team, reporting directly to the Manager, Health & Safety for Macquarie. This program provides exposure to various disciplines and specialities, allowing you to develop into a competent health and safety professional.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Graduate Advisor in Health & Safety, you will:
Provide advice, support, guidance, and coaching to increase health and safety awareness.-
- Assist leaders in driving change and building health and safety capability within the operational site.Contribute to the planning, development, review, and updating of health and safety policies and procedures.-
- Participate in incident investigations and support leaders in developing incident investigation skills.- Professional Development:
- Develop an annual career development plan for professional development.-
- Actively participate in approved internal or external seminars, workshops, networking, and training events.-
- Stay informed of health and safety legislative updates, emerging trends, and innovations.Qualifications and Skills:
To be successful in this role, you need:
- Tertiary qualification in Work Health Safety (minimum Certificate IV).-
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to influence.-
- Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.-
- Analytical and critical thinking skills.-
