**The Opportunity**

Our Port Kembla Manufacturing facility is looking for a **Systems Controller** in our Blast Furnace team based in Port Kembla. As a part of the broader Australian Steel Products portfolio, we have six major manufacturing sites at Port Kembla that deliver a variety of products, innovative solutions and services to our export and domestic customers.

Working in a supportive environment, we will continuously develop you in the role. You will primarily work in a control room environment and assist in the production of our world-class products. This essential role works a 12-hour rotating day and night shift, 7 days a week.

**What Will You Do?**

With your hands-on approach and a keen interest to grow and develop yourself technically, you will:

- utilise your dedicated technical focus to investigate and resolve plant and process faults
- monitor and manage the processing plant and equipment to assist in the production of our high-quality products
- work collaboratively with managers and peers to improve the efficiency of the Blast Furnace
- assist with improving work and safety standards and environmental systems by developing new practices and procedures

- qualifications **or**experience in manufacturing, mining, gas, control operations, engineering, science, materials or metallurgy
- a continuous drive-in improving procedures and process
