**Overview**:
The NTT Cyber Security Managed Services Team is a dynamic and high-performing team that provides services to NTT Australia’s largest corporate clients. The MS Operations Team Lead is responsible for leading a team of Cyber Security engineers and delivering Integrated Services Management across specific ITIL disciplines, including Security Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Vulnerability Management, and Release Management.

The MS Operations Team Lead possesses a strong Cyber Security background, excellent communication abilities, and relationship management skills. They are expected to demonstrate a high level of autonomy, commitment, and initiative in their work and be a motivated self-starter with a proven track record of getting the job done. The MS Operations Team Lead rapidly acquires a thorough understanding of the Integrated Cyber Security Services Management Operation, the client’s specific business operations, and NTT’s tools and systems to successfully perform each ITIL discipline. This role manages a team roster to ensure a 24x7 team capability and acts as an escalation point for incidents outside of normal business hours.

**Primary Duties**:

- Provide leadership and support to the Cyber Security Engineering team in Melbourne/Sydney.
- Manage the resourcing requirements of a 24x7 on-call security operation team, including shift hand-over, operational guidance, ad hoc support requests, and escalation.
- Be available to provide “out of business hours” support via roster or situations such as Major Incidents.
- Continually evaluate and improve work processes, systems, and practices within the team.
- Monitor and develop the team’s high standard of technical and professional skills, including ITIL Compliance, SLA Performance, and Client Satisfaction.
- Ensure each team member has a Career Development Plan and that staff performance management reviews are completed in line with NTT’s policy.
- Work with the HR and Talent Acquisition teams for recruitment of permanent and contract staff.

**Experience**:
**Essential**
- Proven relevant leadership experience of 5 - 10 years with overall 10+ years of IT experience.
- Highly developed leadership and people management skills.
- Experience in an outsourced delivery environment where both Managed and Professional Services were being delivered.
- Prior experience in an environment utilizing the ITIL Services Framework.
- Excellent communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IT Cyber Security and Network Security technologies such as:

- Firewalls: Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, Juniper, Checkpoint
- Proxy: Palo Alto Prisma/SASE, BlueCoat, Zscaler
- F5 Security
- SIEM
- IAM/PAM tools
- Compliance management tools: AlgoSec, Firemon, Skybox, Tufin
- Vulnerability Management tools like Qualys or Tenable.
- Planning and administrative ability, including basic project management.
- Proven track record of achieving business targets and operational performance metrics.
- Strong internal and client relationship management skills.
- Prior experience in managing the technical delivery team.

**Desirable**
- Zscaler, Netskope certifications and experience.
- Cyber Security Tools for AlgoSec, and SIEM solutions Splunk, RSA envision.
- Knowledge of Cloud Security solutions.
- Scripting skills with good command of Python.
- Experience in supporting Splunk Log search head, running query.
- Knowledge of Mitre framework and NIST framework.

**Education and Training**:

- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.
- ITIL Foundation certification v3 / v4.
- Splunk Core / Splunk Enterprise Certifications.
- Cisco and Palo Alto Certifications.
- Other Security products/systems certifications.
- Operating System Certifications: MCSA/MCSE/RHCE.
