**Allied Health Educator**
- Fixed term, full-time opportunity to cover up to 12 months of parent leave
- Can be based in either WA, SA, VIC or QLD
- Hybrid working options

**The opportunity**

Group Capability is seeking an **Allied Health Educator** to join us for a **fixed term** period of up to 12 months to cover parental leave. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to build on their current clinical care skills by sharing this knowledge, educating others to provide a gold standard of care.

**Key responsibilities**

The Allied Health Educator is responsible for:

- Promoting best practice and best care through staff development and education
- Designing, planning, implementing and evaluation of quality learning experiences and programs that support Induction and Professional Development days. Clinical education days. Ad hoc training.
- Effective communication in all areas of educational practice, both face to face as well as virtual
- Demonstrating advanced professional practice skills and competencies
- Engaging in self-reflection
- Travelling to multiple sites to deliver face to face education or staff support as required

**About you**
- Current AHPRA registration with a minimum 2 years’ post-registration experience
- This position would suit a physiotherapist or occupational therapist
- Acute care and clinical skills are essential
- A progressive, creative thinker
- Great communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with the team and the business
- Consistently demonstrate Best Care goals
- Confident presenting to your peers and working in a dynamic environment.
- Plan, coordinate and deliver education across multiple sites and states utilising eLearning methods/technology
- Coordinate and manage your own professional development needs
- Full current clean Australian drivers’ licence
- High level of computer literacy
- **Certificate IV** in workplace **Training**and **Assessment (desirable)**
