Immediate Opening: Medical Receptionist (Temporary Role)

Are you a friendly and enthusiastic individual with a passion for patient care? We have an urgent need for a Temporary Medical Receptionist to join a leading urology clinic in Canberra. This is an immediate placement with a competitive rate ranging from $30 to $40 per hour.

About the Role:

- **Rate**: $30 - $40 per hour
- **Immediate Start**: Begin right away
- **Temporary Role**: Assist existing team until Practice Manager position is filled

Key Responsibilities:

- **Patient Interaction**: Greet and assist patients with a warm and welcoming demeanour
- **Administrative Support**: Assist with practice accounts, invoicing, and general office tasks
- **Appointment Scheduling**: Manage patient bookings and liaise with hospital bookings as needed
- **Phone Communication**: Handle incoming calls, provide information, and manage appointments
- **General Assistance**: Support the team with various administrative tasks as required

Essential Criteria:

- **Friendly Attitude**: A positive and helpful approach towards patients and colleagues
- **Basic Communication Skills**: Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- **Organisational Skills**: Some level of organisational ability to assist with administrative tasks
